HoneyBee Showcase - Happy Birthday with EAD Designs

We are very excited to be showcasing Birthday Cards featuring STICKERZ by the wonderful Emily at EAD Designs. This awesome company has delightful plain and colored STICKERZ, and VINYL products of all kinds! They have a great array of items for papercrafting, home decor, and other crafts. Please be sure to check out their website!!! We are so grateful for their sponsorship this week, and they are offering YOU A $20 GIFT CERTIFICATE!! All you need to do is enter a December Birthday Card to the LINKZ at the bottom of the post, and and leave a comment telling us your favorite item from EAD's store!! The card above is my first Birthday card created with EAD Designs StickerZ. I chose clear, uncolored images, and these were colored with Sharpies. The butterfly was stuck to clear acrylic, trimmed, and it holds it's 3D shape nicely.

A gatefold card was perfect for this medallion and a cheerfully colored EAG sticker! This Birthday Wish is on it's way to my sweet daughther! The cupcakes are colored with Sakura Souffle' Pens, which gives them a great opaque puffy look! The gems are I-Rock, and the paper is DCWV Sweet Stack. The sentiment inside is another great STICKERZ from EAD Designs!

My daughter-In-Love's birthday is another December celebration, and she loves all things sweet, romantic, and Jane Austen. I used an image from WhoopsiDaisy and finger pleated the ribbon, which I glued in behind the hand cut curve. The easily added sentiments from EAD Designs made it so nice to add over the inked background. There's another sentiment STICKERZ inside, too.

This is my first experience with EAD products, and I am totally enamored with their stickerz! They are re-positionable, which was lucky for me, since I had to try each word twice to get them on straight :) I used EAD stickerz for my sentiment for this birthday card.

This fun and easy sentiment inspired me to play some more. My niece just turned 2yo, so I thought I would create a little card to hold a Toys R Us gift card, then place it in a a re-purposed Altoids tin:

I used EAD stickerz sentiments on the front of the tin and on the mini card. So much fun :) Thank you, EAD designs!

This little Ladybug Tilda is colored with Copic markers. The papers are from Marco's and My Minds Eye, accented with a jaunty green bow. The charming EAD Stickerz make adding a sentiment to a colored paper very easy!

First I would like to thank EAD Designs for being our sponsor at Betty Bee's Buzz this week!! For my challenge, I chose these cute and easy to use birthday sentiments. I love that they are repositionable since I usually don't get it right the first time. I also used one of my 'new' toys!..Sew Easy and guess what? It is easy! I am not a sewer, but this tool did two things for me. First, it allowed me to stitch on my cardstock since I have no luck with my mini sewing machine. Second, because this is hand done and takes time, it made me sit down and relax!..I was surprised how relaxing it was and I was able to watch a Christmas movie on TV! For my tag, I used a Cuttlebug cut and emboss plate. Then, using my second 'new' toy, I made a brad with I-Top using a piece of the same paper that I stitched. Don't you just love easy placement stickers and new toys to make a quick card?

Thanks for stopping by the hive today, and we hope you will check out the great EAD Designs, and post a December Birthday card below. Lots of folks have birthdays this month, and often get overlooked in the holiday hustle and bustle. Let's honor them with a great card! EAD is offering a $20 Gift Certificate to their store, and they have AWESOME vinyl as well as Stickerzs!!!
We also have our Winter Blog Candy, so you have some great goodies up for grab!

Happy Creating ~

Betty, Kristi, and Roe, your cards are all beelightful!

Betty, all 3 cards bring a smile to my face. I love your medallion and the use of border punches on the gatefold card. Your "Jane Austen"-like card is spot on too; perfect use of pearls and ribbon :)

Kristi & Roe I love the papers you both chose!!! Kristi, I enjoy coloring Tilda and I think a friend of mine stamped that very image for me and she is up in my craft room waiting to be colored. Roe, I sewed on my card from last week, but I do not have sew easy; I used a paper piercer. I love cards with sewing on them and yours is beeutiful!
