Buzz, Brag and Bee Happy Friday!! 11/12

Welcome back to this week's edition of Buzz, Brag, and Bee Happy.... the place where we can share whatever is happening that we are excited about!! Some of the HoneyBees have some new pieces to bring you, as well as GOOD NEWS around the hive! What will you share this week?

Sharing what's in my craft room...something old: I used this iris stamp by PSX & something new: Hero Arts pearls and gems. I wanted to put these pretty gems to use! I first stamped the background with a linen background stamp on kraft card stock (both SU) with Tim Holtz inks (pumice stone and antique linen). I colored the irises with my Prismacolor pencils and added the self-adhesive bling. The purple cardstocks are by Bazzill and they came from my purple scraps bag! (I love when I can use scraps and not cut a fresh sheet.) Finally I punched the sides with the Threading Water border punch by Fiskars. Quick & easy :)
This is HoneyBee June Houck. What's in your craft room?

It was such a delightful surprise to find that we have been featured by Allison in her "Newly Discovered" column of StampinWhenICan!

Hi, I am Betty Brett
or BettyBee, and this little fellow is Tim Turkey by Wendy at Digital Delights by Louby Loo... He's just so cute, and perfect for those cards to go out to your family and friends this next week.
I have MUCH to be grateful for, including two new grandbabies on the way! We just found out that one will be a precious little girl. Maybe next week I can tell you about the other one!
***Note*** I just found out there will be TWO baby girls in the spring!!! My son and his wife are expecting thier first child, and daughter and her husband are expecting their second child... within two weeks of each other!Text Color

Punta Gorda, here I come!!!.I am so excited to be spending the weekend at a SWARM with my scrapping buddies!!..Our theme is Angels Among Us, so naturally our goodie bag is going to be filled with angels!..It was requested from Miss Betty that we do tree ornaments and we can donate our ornaments to the local senior centers. Everyone thought it was such a great idea! For my ornatment, I designed the frame using George and French Manor with my Design Studio. I have a CD of vintage art used for ATCs and some were of Christmas. I saw a plan coming together..lol..The white card stock was spritzed with gold to tone it down some.

June, you asked what is in your craft room right now... in mine there is a mess! (heehee) Good morning, everyone. I have a little bragging to do. First off, on Sunday I won the prize over at Sketch Inspiration, and then on Thurs. my card was picked to go on the Technique Junkies home page! Each week they have a challenge to try a certain technique and than randomly pick a winner, so I have had a very good week.

I was not happy with my resist card on Wed., so I have a new one to share with you today. I also have lots of craft projects on my blog that I have done this week if you would like to take a peek.

Thank you for visiting us this Friday! I would love to see or hear of your 'brag' for today!
Leave us your GOOD NEWS or comments in the comment section, or link your photos to the INLINKZ below! Brag on yourself! We look forward to getting to know you! Tell your friends that you are proud of them :)
Have a great week, and we'll be back on Monday with another great Monday Motivation!
Happy Creating~

Yep, those irises are perfect, love that creation! That turkey is beyond adorable; made me smile for several different reasons!! Those angels - WOW! I took today off from work and completely out of the blue hubby and I had a great time just walking around the Dollar $tore! LOL Bought some stuff to alter for teachers, based on inspiration I've seen here!!! =)
